I was part of a group in venice, in the depths of winter where the streets and bridges were covered in snow, and the streetlamps glowed brightly. It was romantic and cold. Our group was on a quest to find and collect hidden pieces of treasure all over the city, before the enemy, for st bartholomew the great. We follow the saint's crosses over the city as we searched for and found the treasure. We raced against time. Up and down stairs, over canals, silent sneaky boat ferries. That night we crossed to the other side of venice and the way to proceed was to go down a toilet. A lady who was guiding us said we had to step in and be flushed down through the pipes to proceed. The water was 1 degree, freezing. I went first, with a sense of foreboding. as i was flushed and went up and down the tubes, my lungs were burning and i felt frozen. I felt something was wrong and started screaming internally, and felt extremely claustrophobic as the narrow pipes pressed in on me. the pipes narrowed and my coat splayed out and i got trapped in a bend - despite kicking my legs i couldn't get out. It was a trap - we had been betrayed by the lady guide. I drowned and woke up.
